Allu Arjun's Badrinath seems to have created hype not only in Andhra Pradesh but also in the neighbouring state Kerala. It is because of the actor's increasing fan base in the god's own country. As a result, his upcoming film's distribution rights of the Malayalam version has been sold for a record price.

A source close to the production house claims thatBadrinath's Malayalam version has been acquired by Rathak Films. They have bagged it for Rs. 1.10 crore, but it is not sure whether the satellite rights are also included in it or not.

Badrinath is directed by one of the top directors of the Telugu film industry, VV Vinayak. The movie also features Tamanna Bhatia and Prakash Raj in the key roles. The movie will be released simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam on June 10.
